This page shows data for all IJR indicators, organized by pillar and theme. The visualisation below shows how the cluster of 18 large and mid-sized states fare on the chosen indicator. States ranked 1-6 for the indicator are shown in blue, those ranked 7-12 in light green and those ranked 13-18 in light brown. Mouseover on the map to see a state’s exact values for the indicator and the raw data used to calculate the indicator. Notes:

IJR 1: 1. Court news gives combined figures for subordinate courts for West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Hence, each pair has identical values for these indicators.

IJR 2: 1. Due to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana courts from January 2019, Q4 data of 2018-19 has been used for them. 2. West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been assigned the same value as Court News gives combined figures for subordinate courts for them.

IJR 3: 1. Data not available for Arunachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep.
