This page shows data for all IJR indicators, organized by pillar and theme. The visualisation below shows how the cluster of 18 large and mid-sized states fare on the chosen indicator. States ranked 1-6 for the indicator are shown in blue, those ranked 7-12 in light green and those ranked 13-18 in light brown. Mouseover on the map to see a state’s exact values for the indicator and the raw data used to calculate the indicator. IJR 1: 1. Population of states and UTs for which Court News shows combined data for subordinate courts has been combined, and hence they will show an identical value.

IJR 2: 1. Population of states and UTs that share a High Court, or for which Court News shows combined data for subordinate courts, has been combined. Hence, they will show an identical value. 2. Due to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana courts from January 2019, Q4 data of 2018-19 has been used for them. 3. Court News gives combined figures for subordinate courts for West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Hence, each pair has identical values for these indicators.
